Virginia Partnership For Horses

The Virginia Partnership for Horses provided a grant to help defray the costs of our upcoming Open House and community outreach. I cannot begin to thank the Partnership enough for what they do. They have brought Virginia equine welfare organizations together so that we can be more effective as a group. They provide continuing education programs. They even conducted a retreat that helped us all grow roots and wings.

And for the horses, they do so much more. In an effort to alleviate the burden on rescues, they provide a public clearinghouse on their website that allows owners to publicize horses they can no longer care for and place them into good homes prior to needing rescue. And they are out there advocating on behalf of rescues and horses and doing more than I am sure I even know.

So, a huge thank you to them, their energy, and efforts. And its such a tribute to an organization that has found a need and a niche and a way to jump into the arena to assist to the benefit of all horses and humans across Virginia.
